Downtown New York

Yesterday I went downtown with the subway all the way to the Staten Island Ferry.
The free ferry, which goes by the statue of Liberty. The statue doesn't look that big from a distance actually...
I think only if you really stand next to it, it looks huges.

After the fun trip I visited Wallstreet and Century 21. I knew Century 21 already from three years ago, you can find, if you search good between the much crappy clothes, pretty nice things!

I bought a Calvin Klein bra, Seven For All Mankind jeans, Starbucks jar, pair of socks, and IheartNY luggage tag & cup.

Shopping and watching people, the most loved activities at airports

Wednesday I am going to New York City! My second visit to the big apple.
I'm looking forward to shopping, Central Park, Broadway, MoMa and many other things-to-do :).

I found an intresting research about what we like to do at airports.

"What do you prefer at an airport while waiting for your flight?" This question was asked this week to 500 customers in a telephone survey.  # 1 shopping, 52% of respondents replied they like to dive in the duty-free shops.

The most popular purchases at an airport are perfume (38%), cosmetics (24%, books / magazines (15%) Sunglasses (12%), liquor and cigarettes (4%) and other articles (7%).

The most popular activities after shopping are in order of popularity: food and drink (21%), people watching (10%), reading (6%) internet (5%) watching airplanes (3%) and talking about the trip (3 %).

The reason why internet is not higher in the list, is due to the fact that free Wi-Fi is not available at all airports.

I like to shop and watch people at airports... What do you like to do?
