RIP: the walkman (1979-2010)

Hi peeps!

That was it. The Walkman is dead. After 31 years and about 200 million copies sold, Sony stopped producing the first portable audio player in the history of mankind. The Walkman,
which everyone in the '80s and '90s has grown into.

Listening during the long bus trips, the bike rides in the car to France or overnight in the dark of your room. Obviously at the top-40 songs that have just taken over the DJ to be heard because you were late to press the stop button.

The patriarch of all portable devices has gone. Sniff. Play in our hearts forever and we run every half hour allegiance to the cassette. Rest in peace in the Walkman Museum.

We continue with the order of the day. Congratulations, your iPod, your nine-year anniversary today! Party! Bubbles! Garlands!
