Another Hi!
Fridaynight, on Dutch television, there is a very popular dutch show called "The Voice of Holland".
This show will soon apear in your country either probably.
And now you probably think, no, not another talent show. Exactly the same thought, I had before I started watching. But this show, is different. It really is about qualilty.
Another very good thing about it is, the way they use Social Media. We all watch tv and tweet at the same time probably. So why not
put al these input from twitter in your show?
RTL putted a 'social media room' in the show. Candidates go to this room after their performance.
And then it happens. They take a tablet a read what the Dutch are saying about their performance on twitter.
They will tweet back, and you have the interaction in the show. I love it.
This is the future. Many shows on dutch television failed, using social media in their show in my opinion.
But this is a very good example of how RTL is so good working with social media.
