Karl Lagerfeld unveiled “Mythology,” the 2011 Pirelli calendar. He photographed models in his studio in Paris for the calendar.
There are 36 black-and-white images of 15 female models and 5 male models. Actress Julianne Moore is also photographed as Hera, the wife of Zeus.
According to Highsnobiety the following models are featured in the “Mythologie”: Bianca Balti, Elisa Sednaoui, Freja Beha Erichsen, Isabeli Fontana, Magdalena Frackowiak , Anja Rubik, Abbey Lee Kershaw , Lakshmi Menon, Heidi Mount (Aurora, Amphitrite), Erin Wasson, Natasha Poly, Daria Werbowy, Iris Strubegger, Sebastien Jondeau, Garret Neff, and Jake Davis.
